Every year in Hadigaun, people conduct a unique jatra that takes place nowhere in the world. Commonly known as Hadigaun jatra, this ‘Kahi nabhaeko jatra’ which means ‘jatra that takes place nowhere else’, is one of its kinds. The jatra has also given rise to the popular Nepali saying “kahi nabhaeko jatra Hadigaunma” meaning ‘a jatra that takes place only in Hadigaun’.
Currently in Pokhara. Just came back from Annapurna Base Camp. Will try to post pictures soon. Hope you’ve all been well ❤️
Advice no one asked for but I’m about to give anyways: Pokhara has been very underwhelming so far. If you’re going to be traveling through Pokhara, unless you’ve never seen a lake, cave or a canyon probably best not to spend much time here.
